This event is for kids age 8+ to learn how to make eye-catching floral arrangements for the 4-H Mother's Day Donation Plant Sale.

<p>Floral arrangement is the art of selecting and organizing flowers and foliage to attain a pleasing and interesting design. This workshop  is being offered as an introduction to the basic principles of floral arrangement and will be taught by Leon County Master Gardener Volunteers along with UF/IFAS Extension staff. This event is for kids age 8+ to learn how to make eye-catching floral arrangements for the 4-H Mother&#x27;s Day Donation Plant Sale. There is no cost to attend and 4-H membership is not required to participate. </p><p>Please note that all floral arrangements created during this event will be created for the 4-H Mother&#x27;s Day Donation Plant Sale and participants will NOT be able to take the arrangements home during the workshop on May 6. All proceeds from the Mother&#x27;s Day Bouquet sale will be used for 4-H program scholarships to attend various leadership and state events. Email Aleo@ufl.edu with any questions. </p>
