Manteniendo Nuestras Raíces, Branching Towards Success

Our 31st Anniversary LMSA conference is the culmination of a student-movement that began in the 1960’s to bring healthcare to underserved communities throughout this great nation. Thirty years after the inception, medical students from across the nation continue to work hard to ensure medical education remains accessible especially to those interested in serving medically underserved communities. The annual conference inspires hundreds of Latinos to enter into healthcare professions and provides career development and leadership skills to current healthcare professionals every year.

In addition to discussing major issues prevalent in our communities such as the growing demand for culturally sensitive, quality health care access, the conference will emphasize the need for Latino physicians in positions of leadership in all branches of healthcare. Furthermore, LMSA will continue to honor graduating seniors, as well as distinguished individuals throughout various conference events.
