About this event

Real Estate 2.0

Commercial Real Estate has traditionally included Residential, Office, Industrial and Retail. However, as a result of the pandemic, new industries have emerged as off-shoots of real estate tapping into how we live, work and play. Our virtual Gala will highlight several industries experiencing growth over the past 24-months and will include 4 speakers who have shown exemplary leadership and innovation in their sectors.

  • Crowdfunding: with keynote, Ryan Williams of Cadre
  • Cannabis: Tahir Johnson of US Cannabis Council
  • Life Sciences: Patrice Jean of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP
  • Ghost Kitchens: Corey Manicone of Zuul

We also here from Natascha Bhuiyan, on behalf of Bisnow, who will talk about the RISE Initiative.

NOTE: After purchasing your ticket, you will receive an email from us with the zoom link to the event. Thank you!

Organizer Council of Urban Real Estate

Organizer of 31ST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION & FUNDRAISER

The Council of Urban Real Estate (CURE) was founded as the African American Real Estate Professionals of New York, Inc. in 1990 to advance the economic livelihood of the African American professional in commercial real estate. As the landscape of New York City and the world has changed, we recognize the importance of advocating for the inclusion and success of all underrepresented groups in the industry. Today the mission of CURE is to pursue diversity and inclusion within the commercial real estate, land use and development industries, while empowering emerging real estate professionals.
