Event description

Description

The CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training provides participants with tools in decision-making skills to match the level of the response to the risk of the crisis, focusing on the least-restrictive response to ensure the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security℠ of students and staff in your care. This training includes recognizing the stages of an escalating crisis and learning evidence-based techniques to appropriately de-escalate.

This is a two-part training. The first part is an online 13-module course to complete at your own pace, approximately 3 hours. Please note, the online course must be completed PRIOR to attending the second part of the training, which is in-person classroom-based live instruction on January 21 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. After registering you will receive your login credentials to access the online 13-module course in an email from CPI. You may need to locate the email in your junk/spam folder if it is not in your inbox.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are registering for someone else, please be sure to enter their information in the ticket section for notifications regarding this training.
