Event description

Description

Guest speaker Sopan Tsekov will speak about his experience of running for 3100 miles, in 52 days. It is an epic presentation about what it means to be more than you thought you could be and to examine the outer reaches of human potential. Sopan is an ultradistance runner who uses his sport to seek answers to the higher questions of life. His discussion will cover all aspects of his experience including physical, mental and emotional preparation as well as what happens after the race begins. Any endeavor in life requiring extreme perseverance and courage begins with soul searching questions. It is your opportunity to ask these questions of someone who has walked that path. His goal is to encourage others to pursue their dreams and to stand as a example that no dream is impossible.
