Young leaders and supportive adults with a passion for improving the local child/youth behavioral health system are invited to be part of this 14 week project to transform the day to day operations of North Sound Youth and Family Coalition (YFC). YFC is the venue for young people and their families to make waves in the regional behavioral health system – including mental health and substance use treatment. This initiative will give you the tools to analyze data and public policy with an eye toward health equity for all young people receiving services. That, combined with your own lived expertise as a family, youth, or system partner, will help you play a powerful role in shaping the system for everyone coming after you.
