Event description

Description

The purpose of this event is to foster a healty lifestyle for ourselve's and our families. Currently, there are two options available - The Burpee Mile and The Burpee 1/4 Mile. For those unfamiliar with a burpee, it's explained in the steps below:

  1. Begin in a standing position.

  2. Drop into a squat position with your hands on the ground. (count 1)

  3. Kick your feet back into a plank position, while keeping your arms extended. (count 2)

  4. Perform a strict or modified push up. (count 3)

  5. Immediately return your feet to the squat position. (count 4)

  6. Stand up from the squat position (count 5)

  7. Instead of jumping straight in the air, you will jump forward to complete the required distance.

We will be accepting donations to support our Family Readiness Group, however, donations are not required to participate in the event.
