Description

This basic and advanced class explores the theory and piping of primary secondary pumping including its use in temperature control schemes. This class includes boiler, chiller, swimming pool, heat pump, freeze protection systems and many more. The class is 1-1/2 hours long and is designed for Engineers and Contractors who have an understanding of hydronics and pump selection and operations. Attendees of this class will leave with advanced knowledge of multiple pump application and primary-secondary pumping.

This class will earn you 1.5 CEU credits.

This class will earn you 1.5 OCILB hours.

Mike Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Technology from Ferris State University. Having been in the industry since 2005, Mike has had the opportunity to learn daily thanks to the diverse nature of our industry. As part of the team at R.L. Deppmann, Mike enjoys being presented with system challenges and finding solutions that make an impact. If you find yourself on a road trip with Mike, be prepared as he will call out buildings, schools, and towns where he provided a solution for a customer! In his spare time, Mike enjoys golfing, being outdoors, and spending time with family.

Gerry Potapa has been in the industry for over 40 years. He worked as a consulting engineer from 1977 until 2010 when he joined R.L. Deppmann. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities. He is a member of the ASPE Eastern Michigan Chapter as well as both the Detroit and Toledo Chapters of ASHRAE.
