Can you think of a more effective way to learn the basics of voice-over than working with a top VO agent in a broadcast-quality VO studio? Neither can we! Class size is limited to 10 students, so you get more individual attention and time in the booth. In this intensive, 3 week class, Jason will discuss the current climate of the voice-over industry, provide marketing tips and work with each student on their commercial read, cover audition techniques and tips, and give each student individualized feedback on next steps in their VO career

About The Instructor

Jason Sasportas is head of the voice-over department for Stewart Talent NY, a leading talent agency with offices in NY, LA, Chicago and Atlanta. He built the department from scratch in 2006 and since then, has booked clients on numerous national network TV, radio and internet campaigns. He and his team also covers promo, broadcast narration, videogames, animation and audio books.

Jason initially trained as an actor and screenwriter at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts before making the shift to the business side of entertainment. He landed his first job at The William Morris Agency as an assistant and eventually joined their commercial department as booth director, able to draw upon his acting and writing experience to effectively direct talent, interpret copy and make informed creative choices.
