3 Part Mental Health Series- Young Adult (Age 14-17)

About this Event
Young adults are taught many things in school, by parents, through sports and activities but often, there is not a strong focus on emotion regulation and distress tolerance skills. They are taught to behave, respect adults, and do what they are told but the goal is to shift from compliance to internal motivation and increase an individuals emotional intelligence. When you invest in this three part series you are committed to supporting your young adult with having a space to relate to others their age, on the topic of dysregulation and allow them to learn basic skills to help them regulate their emotions in the future. This series also allows parents the opportunity to learn about and discuss concepts like boundaries, coregulation, and technology.
This is a 3 part series- Please take note of the following dates and times below.
Jan 9th at 4 pm- 5 pm- Parent Psycho-Education Group
Jan 9th at 5:30 pm- 6:30 pm- Teen Mental Health Series Part 1
Jan 16th at 1 pm- 2 pm- Teen Mental Health Series Part 2
All sessions will be held via a secured Zoom platform.
