3 Part Mental Health Series- Adolescent (age 10-13)
Event Information
About this Event
Adolescents are taught many things in school, by parents, through sports and activities but often, there is not a strong focus on emotion regulation and distress tolerance skills. They are taught to behave, respect adults, and do what they are told but the goal is to shift from compliance to internal motivation and increase a child's emotional intelligence. When you invest in this three part series you are committed to supporting your pre-teen with having a space to relate to others their age, on the topic of dysregulation and allow them to learn basic skills to help them regulate their emotions in the future. This series also allows parents the opportunity to learn about and discuss concepts like boundaries, coregulation, and technology.
