Description

3-Dimensional Learners in a Linear World: How to Unlock the Gifts and Understand the Challenges of Learning Differences

On-Point Learning Solutions is offering a free educational seminar on the intricate mind of individuals with Learning Differences. Most individuals with Learning Differences are Visual Spatial learners, meaning that they see the world in moving 3-dimensional pictures. Davis Facilitator and Learning Specialist Janell Warkentin has spent the last decade helping children and adults unlock their Visual Spatial gifts while correcting their challenges. Janell will use the latest scientific discoveries in learning to show parents, teachers and other education professionals how Visual Spatials best succeed. From helping you understand the ‘why’ in an ADHD student’s actions to the “why not” in a dyslexic student’s math, Janell and her staff will help you utilize new communication that can lead to better behavior and better education for all learners.

Questions that will be addressed in this seminar include:

What is a Visual Spatial Learner?

How do Visual Spatials process information?

What styles of communication work best?

Teaching strategies to help them “experience” what they’re learning

Sensory diet and listening therapies in the classroom

Focus plans for success

This free event is for parents only.
