Event description

Description

Show me someone who is willing to have uncomfortable conversations, no matter how difficult, and I would bet that they are someone who moves forward in life. I would even bet that they are more successful than most.

I believe in 3 fundamental truths that lead us to communicating effectively and with ease:

  1. Courage
  2. Curiosity
  3. Connection

Courage: This might seem like a strange definition of Courage, but what I mean here is: Don't believe everything you think. It takes courage to let go of the grips of our ego which believes it has all the answers. The truth is, we are always and only up against our personal thinking. Nothing else. Disarming our personal thinking, liberates what has us stuck and lead us on a new path of creative, innovative ideas.

Curiosity: "I don't know" is a doorway to curiosity. When we are Curious, we engage a part of the mind that wonders what is possible. We look toward creating solutions and opportunities. We see next steps.

Connection: When we come from the understanding that we already and always have Connection we trust that we are in this together. Knowing that we are already connected and in this together can break the chain of reactivity. We collaborate rather than defend. We are constructive and positive, vs stubborn and stuck.

In this workshop we will discuss in-depth the 3 Cs of Communication and learn how to love and be successful in uncomfortable conversations.
