The 2nd WIA International conference will focus on the role of iodine in food systems and health.

About this event

Gathering representatives from the scientific, academic, and medical community, the industry, as well as policymakers, the 2nd WIA international conference will provide a forum for discussing the most recent scientific and policy developments related to the prevention of iodine deficiency disorders and the role of iodine in human health in relation to current global challenges, such as Covid-19 prevention and risk mitigation of nuclear radiation exposure.

Next to offering a range of expert presentations, the winner of the SQM Genius Challenge, an initiative which aims to promote innovative solutions related to the use of iodine and its derivatives, will present its project at the conference.
