2nd Chance Prom for LGBTQ+ and Allies 18+

Trans Power SA in partnership with Pride Center San Antonio brings you our 2nd Chance Prom for LGBTQ+ and allies 18 & up of all backgrounds.  If you missed prom, weren't able to be your authentic self, or you'd like another opportunity to do it again, please join us! 

2022 Prom Agenda:

7 - 8 pm: Welcome Reception Dinner

8 -11 pm: Dance with Music by DJ Akasha

10 pm: Contest to Crown 2022 Prom Royalty Winners (singles or couples can win)

Special performances throughout the night by Emcee Mother Natalie Lepore, Queen Fantasia, Kristi Waters, and a live vocal performance by Basilio!

Door Prizes will be raffled throughout the evening.

Photo Booth and Balloon Arch for tons of LGBTQ+ Prom pictures.

Community resource tables will be available during the event.

Beer and wine will be sold at the bar directly through Brick.  PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY.  NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL. Trans Power SA will not be held liable for actions of guests.

ATTIRE: Come as you are!  Our theme is LGBTQ+ Royalty: formal, dressy, or fashionable casual wear are welcome. 

Tickets include dinner and table seating. Sales are refundable up to 7 days prior.  

 Brick is an LGBTQ+ welcoming venue with accessibility and gender neutral restrooms.

Trans Power SA is a volunteer group of trans folks with a mission of strengthening our gender expansive community in South Texas while emphasizing the importance of health and wellness, including testing, knowing your status, HIV/AIDS education, and PrEP awareness.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Must be at least 18 years of age or above to attend with valid government issued ID.

 What are transportation/parking options?

Rideshare is highly recommended. Limited free parking is available in Blue Star lots. Free street parking in the surrounding area. Paid parking on Blue Star street. DON'T park in tow away zones.  On Via Bus route.  https://www.bluestarartscomplex.com/parking

 Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you may use your phone or simply give your registered name at the check in table on the day of the event.

 Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match my ID?

If the name on your ID does not match the name you go by, please give the check in person your registered name. 

If multiple tickets or tables are purchased in one registration, please ask each guest to give the main reservation name or sponsor name at check-in.
