This year our theme centers around Mental Health and Well-Being. We want to let our young people know that Mental Health and Well Being are connected issues that are important for all of us. Throughout the day of this event we will talk about mind, body, and spirit well being of what should we know, how to talk about and have conversations about mental health, what resources are available, understanding the value of proper nutrition and exercise, incorporating healing of mind and body through meditation and prayer, what should be the response of schools, and much more.

During the summit, students should be prepared to be listened to and listen to others as wel. Students will have the opportunity to share their stories, experiences, have constructive discussions, work on critical thinking strategies, and give feedback to community leaders, build teamwork, and take on the initiative to create social impact from their own generational perspective.

Students will participate in small and large group break out sessions to address several different topics impacting on students. There will also be a panel session with important leaders and experts on issues of racial and social justice.
