About this Event

Attention Midlife Women: A one of a kind summit design especially for you is coming back to Omaha. Take the afternoon off for an educational, fun-filled, spirited, afternoon with amazing speakers to engage and interact for intimate and life-changing conversations.

This event is designed for women in midlife who want to fulfill their passion, understand their physical symptoms and reinvent themselves to bring new excitement to their second season in life. Understanding perimenopause, menopause, how to live purposefully with passion, Q&A with several midlife expert panels to answer questions with amazing keynote speakers, demonstrations and power up sessions. The Your Second Season event has everything that a midlife woman needs to flourish during the midlife transition.

Be an advocate for yourself and take an afternoon off for a fun-filled, educational, with intimate and life-changing conversations. Grab a cocktail, eat some delicious food, enjoy lots of give a way and explore vendors specifically catered to you.

1:15pm-2:00pm - Why No Fear!  How our past can embolden us to march ahead.

  Keynote Speaker: Camille Metoyer Moten

Come meet Camille, an authentic and honest Omaha native who inspires and is a light for everyone she encounters.  At age 10 along with her dad, they were arrested during a protest for open housing. She lost her mom to cancer, and then lost her dad who was murder.  She never gave up and followed her passion and is often described as “Omaha’s most versatile singer". She is an independent singer/songwriter and performs for many special events around the city as a guest soloist and also has her own pop/jazz band that performs for special events around the state.  Her theater performance credits include starring roles in Ragtime, Evita, Funny Girl, Tarzan, Little Women and Having Our Say to name a few.  Her musical travels have taken her to Barcelona, Spain, and Germany.  She has been a recipient of several awards including the Omaha Arts and Entertainment Award, Theater Arts Guild and Fonda/McGuire awards.  Her guest solo appearances have included the Omaha Symphony, Jazz on the Green and the Governor’s Arts Ball. She was nominated as a top jazz vocalist for 2015 and 2019 in the city and has been inducted into the Omaha Black Musicians Hall of Fame as well as the Nebraska Musicians Hall of Fame.  She has released three CDs and has written an inspirational book regarding her battle with breast cancer.

Amy McCae helps individuals and organizations overcome burnout and improve resiliency and communication for better health, relationships, and success. She began her business after spending nearly a decade ill with chronic illnesses and finally finding healing through fitness, nutrition, and meditation.  Amy holds 16 certifications related to mind, body wellness and currently focuses on emotional intelligence and mindfulness. b. Everything you need to know about BHRT. Q&A with Lisa Baine, PharmD              

Lisa Baine is a pharmacist with Precision Compounding Pharmacy. We believe that medications should fit patients, not the other way around. This is why we are a compounding-only pharmacy. Our calling is to collaborate and consult with healthcare providers and patients to develop unique formulations for each patient. By developing a medication customized to the needs of the patient, we help patients and physicians achieve the best possible therapeutic outcomes.

2:45pm -3:30pm –Midlife Make Over Panel: Q& A time to ask experts who understand midlife fashion, hair, exercise and how to handle our changing body. Meet 2 midlife women who dedicated 3 months for a midlife makeover.

5:45pm - 6:15pm -Your Bottom Half - A panel of women's sexual wellness health experts from Methodist Physicians Clinic Women’s Center: a sex therapist, a pelvic floor and a menopause specialist. They will answer all your questions about sexual wellness and more.
