Denver Event Celebrates, Supports, and Empowers Women in Business

Never before have so many women-owned businesses – powering the economy and their own economic futures.

On Nov. 16, join Colorado entrepreneurs and leaders in tech, business, nonprofit and education for a day packed with knowledge, networking, and support. Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) Colorado brings together women from across Colorado to the Commons on Champa in downtown Denver. And, it’s open to the public.

Last year, hundreds of women joined in the first Colorado event held in conjunction with the global, Women’s Entrepreneurship Day®.

“So much wisdom, information, and support was shared,” said Shana Cordon, Founder, The Moxy Lab, of last year’s WED Colorado. “I am always inspired by the generosity and collaborative spirit of entrepreneurial women.”

This year, WED Colorado features diverse business-boosting breakout sessions on topics such as financing, branding, business storytelling and more. Speakers from across the state will share their knowledge and insights with current and prospective business owners, along with high school students interested in entrepreneurship. Denise Burgess, President and CEO, Burgess Services, will deliver the closing keynote.
