2nd Annual Spring Fling Partner Competition
Sat, March 25, 2017, 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM PDT
This is a same sex partner competition! There will be a scaled and RX division with openings for 5 teams of each. Although there are RX and Scaled divisions, this is more of a capacity based competition. This is not for high level competitors. This competition will be fast paced, with short rest times between workouts. The goal is to stay within the times, however we may run over. Bring your own jump rope. Family and friends are welcome to come spectate and cheer.
There will be a special prize for best team name and/or team shirts.

These are the workouts in no particular order:
10 min AMRAP:
4 Rope Climbs
12 Hang Snatch
Scaled: 85/55; rope walk-ups will be permitted (2 walk-ups=1 climb)
Each partner must complete one rep of each movement to finish a round. Partners can break up movements however they see fit. Only one partner working at a time.
7 min AMRAP:
25 Jump Ropes
Partner 1 does 10 deadlifts and on the 10th rep holds the deadlift in a hang position. Partner 2 will then complete 25 jump ropes. The partners will switch and Partner 2 will do deadlifts with Partner 1 doing jump ropes. If Partner holding the deadlift in the hang position drops the bar before all the jump ropes are completed, the Partner jumping rope will have to stop until the hold is begun again
RX: 205/155; double unders
Scaled: 165/115; singles x 2
12 minutes to establish a combined 1 rep max for Clean and Jerk.
Partner 1 will have 6 minutes to find a 1 rep. Then Partner 2 will have 6 minutes to find a 1 rep. Totals will be combined for max weight score. Partners can help load weight.

Partner 1 rows, Partner 2 does a handstand hold. Once the Partner is in a static hold, rowing can start once the Partner drops from a handstand hold, the partners switch positions.

100 M Partner Carry
RX: 30/24; 53/35
Scaled: 24/20; 44/26; hand release push-ups
Step-ups are allowed in Scaled Partner 1 will do rounds 1 &3, Partner 2 will do rounds 2&4 One Partner works, while other Partner rests
