ABOUT WUNDERGLO:
On September 19, 2010, 28 year old Gloria Borges -- a Duke '04 alum, '04 Class President, and Cameron Crazie for life -- was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer. She started a blog, www.WunderGlo.com, to track her “cancer-killing adventures” as she planned to “thoroughly embarrass” the deadly disease with medical treatment, exercise, diet, acupuncture, meditation, and -- above all -- a positive, tenacious attitude. During her journey, she has barreled through 48 rounds of chemo and 3 surgeries and continues to dominate this deadly disease. Her story has touched many, as her blog has over 100,000 unique visitors and has been read in over 100 countries.
Sensing a deep need to give back to her new community, a community she calls the “cancer warriors,” Gloria launched The WunderGlo Foundation, a non-profit committed to raising funds to find the cure, support cancer warriors and their loved ones, and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
