Please join ALPFA Atlanta as we kickoff an exciting 2017 with our 2nd Annual "Coats and Cocktails" event, sponsored by Rick Tapia and Paul Vicens. Rick is the founder and CEO of La Bodega, a Hispanic-owned, hand crafted premium spirits company based in Atlanta. Paul is the owner of the restaurants Truman Tavern and Calle Latina in Decatur.
This is an evening of networking and philanthropy, we are featuring light appetizers and a complimentary bourbon drink, created specifically for this event, courtesy of La Bodega Internacional and Truman Tavern. In the spirit of philanthropy, we will be collecting winter coats ( for all ages) and canned goods to donate to the Latin American Association. We encourage donations, which go to support ALPFA students to attend the National ALPFA convention.
Rick Tapia will be speaking regarding his ALPFA story and his path to launching and creating La Bodega. He also recently launched J.R. Revelry™, a new, 90 proof bourbon that provides a unique, smooth taste for new and existing craft whiskey enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
J.R. Revelry is the first bourbon whiskey created and owned by LBI, the first Hispanic American-owned Distilled Spirits Beverage Company and certified MBE (Minority Business Enterprise). For more information regarding La Bodega Internacional, please visit www.jrrevelry.com.
