The Social Justice Council cordially invites you to Dine and Dialogue with Our Muslim Neighbors. Dinner will be prepared by Muslims for Peace, assisted by UUCBers. The purpose of this dinner is to bring UUCBers together with our Muslim neighbors from the Masjid Al-Rahman in Richmond and the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California in Oakland. We will cook side-by-side; sit down and dine and dialogue side-by-side; and pray side-by-side. Through this process, we will learn from our Muslim neighbors about their religion, culture and beliefs, and we will share ours. Hopefully bridges will be built and there will be on-going interactions between the two communities.
RSVPs requested by May 12th; seating is limited and we will not be able to accept walk-ins
Free will offerings welcomed at the door
Sponsored by UUCB World Peace Committee and Social Justice Council
There will be a collection to benefit GRIP Souper Center
