2BeachDance2/BhaktiDance!...Warm sand between our toes is our dance floor.. lovely escatic dancers surround us, our dance flow transforms into flowing azure waves and the rolling ocean along with surprise visits from sweet sea turtles, manta rays, songs of Humpback Whales and sometimes even visits by quickly swimming and spinning spinner dolphins are the beautiful bonus we receive as we dance!

You are warmly invited to join us in our dance of celebration in your being fully present to whatever arises and dances within you as we dance and sweat our prayers with our precious and sacred beings!

* In order to be aligned with the Spirit of being Pono and honor Mayor Victorino's Covid-19 restrictions, for now, dance event offerings will be limited to only 10 participants until further notice.

Tickets must be reserved in advance to hold your space and your waterproof MP3 player on one of Maui's most beautiful dancefloors!

I see that you’ve reserved a free ticket for one of my beachdance offerings. Mahalo!

There has been a slight change in meeting arrangements. Instead of meeting me at the rocks at the end of the parking lot at Po’olenalena Beach Park, meet me at the beachdance site instead. The path there begins at the big rocks at far end right end of the parking lot closest to the ocean.

✨Meeting time for 2BeachDance2 is on Sunday morning between 8:30-9am sharp. 

At 9 we will begin our circle and then dance to the one hour playlist that I’ve created for that specific event. We will do a closing circle at 10:15 and end around 10:30.

✨Meeting time for BhaktiBeachDance is on Friday between 4:15- 4:30 pm SHARP. 

Please honor the group by being on time.

At 4:30 pm we will begin our circle and then dance until 5:45 to the unique one hour playlist I’ve created for that specific event. 

💜 As you see, tickets are free. Love donations are very welcome. They will go toward replacing drowned or non operational IPods and help to support keeping  beachdance offerings alive and well and moving forward into the future. I will be needing to put in an order for  additional MP3 players as 33 of the 75 MP3 players I originally purchased no longer work. 

💦FYI, I’ve ordered 5 different kinds of waterproof iPods in the past several months with the highest waterproof rating like the ones I purchased (IPX8) and they all drowned and became nonfunctional after just 2 or 3 exposures to being submerged in the ocean. 

Thus I request that the iPods you are given be worn high on a hat or headband and not be submerged or splashed with water if you choose to dance in the ocean with them. 💦

Please note our guidelines:

 •    These offerings are drug and alcohol free.

 •    Please honor the COVID-19 protocol of 6’ distancing when dancing and talking before and after dance.

  •    Bathing suits must be worn at all times.

   •    Be sure to bring sun protection and something to drink.

    •   Our beachdance experience opens up a creative and sacred space for each one of us. Be prepared to focus on the dance and playlist the entire hour. Please refrain  from checking your phones or making calls during the hour long playlist as it breaks the dance flow for yourself and the group/

    •    Talking and socializing is welcome to happen before and after we dance,  but to honor sacred space, please do not talk during our dance on the beach or in the ocean while the hour playlist is running.

PS-  The 2 beachdance offerings have become quite popular and are selling out a few days and sometimes a week before the event. In light of the above, I recommend you make reservations early. I appreciate the courtesy of your letting me know if you  need to cancel before the event so I can give your MP3 player to someone on the waiting list. Mahalo!
