The Amory PACE Center is a comprehensive service center and residential apartment complex for frail elders and persons with disabilities.
Boston Housing Authority (BHA) recently completed a $4 million renovation at 125A Amory Street, a formerly dilapidated structure behind the Amory Street Elderly/Disabled public housing development.
The community is now supported by a full-service center for elderly and disabled residents over the age of 55. The Center is operated by the Upham’s Corner Health Center through its Elder Service Plan-PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for Elders). PACE is a community-based, comprehensive initiative providing medical, adult day health and supportive care for frail elders that allows them to remain living independently in the community rather than in a nursing home.

In Massachusetts, PACE programs operate under the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. This is the first PACE site in the Amory neighborhood, with two other sites in Boston.
This six-story, elevator-equipped building has approximately 181 units in studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom.

Biweekly Thursday afternoon $2/bag of produce in Jamaica Plain, held on ALTERNATE WEEKS
YOU can ALSO TAKE HOME one or two of those $2 bags of fresh produce !
Fair Foods provides a 20-22 bag of produce for the Jamaica Plain neighbors so they can eat the way I do - on produce. Neighbors only need to pay' $2 for the bag.
Volunteers unload the truck, set up portable banquet tables, set up the food in order of density (potatoes on bottom - tomatoes and bananas and berries and kale on top), then fill each bag (and 'stack' them upright by one another - for the 'paying neighbors' to pick up (for $2).
In the FRONT of the Amory Street Building at 125 Amory Street in Jamaica Plain.
