Regretfully, this event has sold out.
The Solano Wine & Food Jubilee, organized by NorthBay Healthcare Foundation to support the programs of NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement, has become the biggest and most popular fund-raising event in Solano County. Over the past 28 years this sell-out gala has raised more than $3.5 million, enabling NorthBay to provide physical, emotional and spiritual care for the terminally ill, regardless of their ability to pay. With this support, these patients – and their families – are able to live their final days as peacefully and comfortably as possible.
The Solano Wine & Food Jubilee offers ticketholders an opportunity to sample an array of award-winning wines, brews, non-alcoholic beverages and tasty foods offered by some of the area’s most notable restaurants and vintners. In addition to sampling foods and beverages, ticketholders may also peruse an array of items, from exotic vacation getaways to sports memorabilia, in the silent auction area, and dance to one of the area’s most popular dance bands, The Rhythm Method 4.
For those attending or interested in supporting NorthBayHospice & Bereavement without attending, the Wine & Food Jubilee will be hosting a raffle with several exciting prizes. The top prize is a choice among three brand new cars, offered by Rami Yanni of Vacaville Buick GMC, Vacaville Nissan, Vacaville Dodge and Vacaville Hyundai: either a 2016 Hyundai Sonata, Buick Encore or Nissan Altima. In addition to the choice of cars as a top prize, $10,000 in cash will be awarded. There will be 12 winners of $125, 10 winners of $500, one winner of $1,000 and one $2,500 winner. Raffle tickets are $50 each or buy two and get the third for free. The odds of winning something are about one in 100, as only 2,500 tickets will be sold. They can be purchased by calling (707) 646-3133, purchased with a credit card by fax at (707) 646-3135, or in person at the NorthBay Healthcare Foundation office at 4500 Business Center Drive in Fairfield.
The 29th Annual Solano Wine & Food Jubilee, a black tie-optional affair, gets under way at the Sunrise Event Center, 620 Orange Drive in Vacaville, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on April 23, for general admission.
All attendees must be 21 or older.
