How to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs): Please read this important message.

Pesticide Applicator Recertification Credits: Participants must sign in before the start of each session, and present their applicator’s license identification card in order to sign-in. A certificate of attendance is given at sign-in of each session and will be stamped at the end of each session. If you fail to present your pesticide applicator’s license (or acceptable photo ID), or if you arrive after the sign-in sheet has been removed, you will not be given a certificate of attendance. Sign-in sheets will be removed a few minutes into the first presentation of each session.

NYS Licensed Landscape Architects: Landscape architects interested in earning CEUs are required to sign in before the start of each session. Sign-in sheets will be removed a few minutes into the first presentation. A certificate of attendance is given at sign-in, and must be stamped at the end of each session. If the sign-in sheet has been removed, you will not be given a certificate of attendance.

CNLP Professionals & ISA Certified Arborists: Participants interested in earning professional credits must be present for the entire workshop. At the end of the workshop, you’ll need to sign an attendance sheet before leaving.

Continung Education Credits

DEC Pesticide recertification credits:

AM Session: 1.50 in categories 10, 3A, and 25. 0.50 credit in categories 9, 2, 1A, 22, 21, 23, and 24

Landscape Session: 2.50 credits in categories 10, 3A, and 25. 1 credit in 9.

Nursery Session: 1.50 credits in categories 3A and 25. 0.50 credit in categories 9 and 10.

ISA Certified Arborist CEUs: ISA certified arborists can earn a total of 6 credits for the day, or 3 credits per session.

Landscape Architecture: This program offers a total of 5.5 hours of NYSED (HSW) continuing education units under the subjects of horticulture, and vegetative management for registered landscape architects. General Session: 2.50 credit hours, HSW, Landscape or Nursery Sessions: 3 credit hours.

CNLP recertification education credits available for the NYS Nursery & Landscape Association’s Certified Nursery & Landscape Professional Program: 3 for the AM General Session, and 3 each for the Nursery and Landscape Sessions.


Important information about Brookhaven National Laboratory Access

Brookhaven National Lab requires all attendees to check in at the entry booth before entering the campus. Please allow extra time for this procedure. Speed limits are strictly enforced by campus police.

Ample parking is available at Berkner Hall. The map below is of the Brookhaven National Lab Campus. After checking in at the entry booth and office, head straight and take a left at the red light. At the next red light, take a right. Berkner Hall comes up quickly on the left after the light. Turn left at the either the first or second road and park in the lots by Berkner.

The red arrow points to Berkner Hall, and the blue arrow points to the Chemistry Building, where the afternoon Nursery Session will be held.
