Event Details

You are cordially invited to join the Society of Professional Journalists, Northern California chapter, in honoring champions of the First Amendment at the 28th Annual James Madison Awards Banquet on Tuesday, March 12, at the New Delhi Restaurant in San Francisco.

The evening will begin with a no-host reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by the dinner and awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. All tickets must be purchased by noon on March 12, 2013

The Society of Professional Journalists, the nation's most broad-based journalism organization, is dedicated to preserving the free press as a cornerstone of our democratic society. The Northern California chapter hosts two awards contests each year, one for journalism and one for freedom of information work. It also supports local journalists with advocacy work and networking and continuing education events.
