Description

The Association of African American Educators in partnership with the San Diego County Office of Education would like to invite you to join us at the 28th Annual Educators Conference on Friday, Mach 6 - Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Marina Village Conference Center.

This year’s conference theme is “Strategizing for Success: What is it About Me You Can’t Teach.” The primary focus of the conference is to address statewide concerns pertaining to equity and the quality of education for African American students; in addition to, developing strategies that school districts and colleges can use to ensure that all students achieve at the highest level.

Registration must be paid before attending the conference. Those paying by purchase order, please register online AND complete your district or company's process for submitting payment ahead of the conference date.

Funding and Sponsorship:

If you are an employee of San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) and the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE), please note that registration for the first 100 educators from both SDUSD and SDCOE has been approved for coverage.

Title I and II funds may also be used to attend.
