The League of Women Voters of Oakland cordially invites you join leaders from Oakland's business, non-profit, government and political communities as we celebrate our city and the work of the League.

Our guest speaker, Rosie Rios, 43rd Treasurer of the United States, will talk about her educational initiative Teachers Righting History, that highlights in classrooms across the country historic American women who can serve as role models for futue leaders.

We will honor the winners of the 2019 Making Democracy Work award,Oakland organizations that have had a vision for improving Oakland and mobilized others to make it happen.
