26th ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER VIRTUAL CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

The Chinese American Association of Solano County (CAASC) will celebrate “The Year of the TIGER” at its 26th Annual Chinese New Year Celebration. In past celebrations, this event has always been a sell-out with an attendance of over 400 annually. The festivities included an authentic Chinese dinner, traditional Chinese Lion Dance, cultural performances, raffle prizes, awarding of scholarships and recognition of outstanding contributors and leaders in our community. This is a great opportunity for you to contribute and in turn be recognized.

In the realm of community service, one of our primary goals is to offer scholarships to graduating high school and current community college students from all ethnic backgrounds in Solano County, as our future is directly dependent upon the education of our youth. The Chinese New Year Celebration is our largest annual fundraising effort. Proceeds from this event directly benefit our scholarship program. In the last twenty-five years, because of your support, 323 outstanding students received CAASC scholarships totaling in excess of $235,500.

In the past twenty-five years, we have enjoyed tremendous success, due, in large part, to friends, sponsors and supporters like you. As we begin preparations to welcome the “Year of the TIGER”, we come to you and seek your support again.
