The DePaul Law Review’s 26th Annual Symposium will focus on Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) and Sports Gambling. Speakers will address a variety of developments related to DFS, including their legality, the potential effect on the economy, and recent developments in Illinois and New York, where the states' Attorneys General declared Daily Fantasy Sports to be illgeal gambling.
Speakers will also discuss issues relating to sports gambling in general, including its legality, its potential effect, locally and nationally, on the economy, and New Jersey's recent attempt to legalize sports gambling.
Speakers consist of experts in the gaming industry from Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New York, Washington D.C. and Wisconsin.
This symposium will offer a complimentary lunch.
DePaul University College of Law is an accredited CLE provider and will offer 5.25 CLE Credits for this symposium.
