The Texas Volunteer Management Conference is the leading educational event for current and emerging volunteer management professionals in Texas and neighboring states. Throughout its twenty-five year history, the conference is noted for providing an opportunity to learn from top level speakers, trainers and leaders who are outstanding in their fields. The conference is hosted by the Dallas Association of Directors of Volunteers (DADV), the Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA) Tarrant County, Volunteer McKinney and VolunteerNow. Join us for one-and-a-half days of thought-provoking and interactive workshops geared to inspire you to build a more robust volunteer program and increase volunteer impact within your organization! This year’s conference will be held May 18 – 19 at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and we expect 150 - 200 attendees.
Early Bird Registration deadline extended to April 25!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The majority of conference attendees are professional volunteer administrators who work for nonprofit organizations or publicly funded agencies such as the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, municipalities, parks and recreation centers, museums and schools.
The conference also welcomes anyone in the private sector responsible for working with volunteers including program managers, executive directors, development and communications team members as well as staff in community relations and corporate social responsibility.
Full conference registration includes all activities for both Thursday and Friday. On Thursday, attendees participate in a half day pre-conference session (as part of the TCU Nonprofit Communicators Conference) and a Networking Reception. The conference format on Friday includes an opening plenary session, an anniversary celebration lunch and four breakout sessions. You can choose workshops from each breakout session based upon your individual needs for professional development.
