Greensboro Orthopaedics is excited to announce our 25th Annual Musculoskeletal Pathology Symposium will be held on Thursday, October 19th, 2017 at the Proximity Hotel. The symposium is a worker’s compensation event offered to case managers, adjusters, and occupational health nurses at no cost. Benefits of the event include advanced clinical education for participants, vendor marketing, and professional networking.

Speakers

R. Andrew Collins, MD is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon. He specializes in shoulder & knee in work and sport-related knee & shoulder injuries/pathologies. He has a special interest in treating disorders of the knee in particular ligamentous, meniscal, and articular cartilage conditions. Dr. Collins is the first and only orthopaedic surgeon in the region to perform the MACI Procedure to repair articular cartilage defects of the knee.

Angela Capilupo PT, DPT is a physical therapist who primarily cares for patients suffering from neck and back pain. She credentialed by the McKenzie Institute in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), is a certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner, and is certified in Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Rehabilitation. Angela’s motivation and determination to advance her education is also apparent when she is caring for her patients. She strives to deliver quality patient-centered care identifying her patient’s needs and goals to develop individualized treatment plans.

William Gramig, III, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in the upper extremity focusing on the hand, wrist, and elbow. As an accomplished surgeon, Dr. Gramig has earned a Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Gramig delivers an enthusiastic approach to patient care to provide a positive patient experience and improve the well-being of his patients.

Continuing Education Credit

CEU credit is pending for 3 credits from the American Academy of Occupational Health Nurses, the North Carolina Department of Insurance, and The Commission for Case Manager Certification.
