25th Annual EEO/Diversity Day of Training

About this event

I am sure you will be as excited about this year’s lineup of workshops as we are. We have confirmed sessions covering special hiring authorities, reasonable accommodations, and an SES Panel on ECQ 2, Leveraging Diversity. Speakers from previous sessions will be returning, speaking on civility and the American Muslim experience, and we have several speakers joining us to offer fresh perspectives on leadership bias, resiliency, and an update on COVID-19 guidance. This is just a sample of the topics that will be covered in what is sure to be another interesting and engaging day for all our attendees. Many agencies use this event to meet their annual requirement for leadership training of managers and supervisors and to train new supervisors.

With this year’s event being held virtually, we are fortunate that several of our local federal agencies have offered us the use of their virtual platforms to support this event. Sessions will be offered via Zoom for Government, WebEx, Adobe Connect, and MS Teams, so even if you are not able to access one platform, there will be others available for you to attend.

We expect to offer at least twenty workshops and may repeat sessions based on the availability of the speakers, though we cannot promise repeat sessions. We will be sending out the schedule of sessions to the registered attendees in mid October. Please note that the advance information will have the session and time, as well as the platform the session will be offered in. Attendees should choose sessions on platforms they are able to access, as not every session will be available on every platform.

A virtual event means that the limits on attendees we have imposed for the past several years because of space limitations can be lifted. Registration is open to all who wish to attend. Each individual session will be limited to about 250 attendees, while total capacity will be capped at 1000 attendees. Registration is open on a first come, first served basis.
