Conference Objectives!

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today”-Malcolm X

Education in the 21st Century!

As we are entering through the 21st Century, educational institutions have been facing a lot of transformations and advancements, more particularly, with the increasing use of technology in the classroom in order to enhance the learning experience.

It becomes a real challenge to every educator to gain the attention of students as one is constantly distracted by the text messages, alerts, emails and advertising messages. Again, it is a big challenge to focus on our core jobs with these diversions.

Technology and Teaching

Technology has made deep inroads into the classroom. Traditional teaching is considered almost irrelevant now-a-days. So, integrating technology into the curriculum and teaching methods is all the more very relevant and necessary, today. A conductive atmosphere should be created by teachers to make the learning process, interesting, interactive, focused and objective. They should encourage a kind of divergent thinking among the students community in order to prepare them for tacking the global challenges.

Create Opportunities for Students

Teachers have to provide an ideal platform where students engage themselves in great discussions and do learning activities that would create these opportunities.

It is our duty to ensure that the current generation of students are better equipped with what is necessary and useful so that they contribute actively in the 21st Century.

Of course, use of technology in teaching makes the process of learning very interesting and engaging, more particularly, for younger generation. Teachers will be in a position to deliver the lessons not only faster but in an efficient manner, as well. It makes collaboration between students, teachers and parents quite possible.

In addition, it helps students to improve their technology-based skills, allowing students to learn and enjoy the advancements in technology. The grasping power of students multiply with the technology-assisted learning.

Objectives of the Upcoming Conference

Against this backdrop, this upcoming conference in the most beautiful city state of Singapore aims at achieving the following objectives.

 To promote active and high-quality research in the field of education in broader terms and other related areas;

 To encourage regional and international delegates to share their outstanding contributions and research works/findings/experiences with other delegates from different parts of the world in this field with a focus on changing paradigms in education;

 To inculcate the habit of undertaking inter-disciplinary research towards the advancement of the theory and practice of all disciplines related to education, educational administration, teaching, learning, technology, assessment, best practices in all these aspects, etc.,

 To offer a platform in order to bring together leading educationists, researchers, scholars, administrators/decision-makers and all the parties/stakeholders involved in educational research to identify topics of common interest and disseminate their knowledge at the international landscape.
