Description

The University of Scranton's ACHE Student Chapter will be hosting the 24th Annual Healthcare Symposium. The topic for this year's event is "MACRA's Quality Payment Program: How Does it Apply to Healthcare Organization's Today?"


This event counts as an ACHE face-to-face 1.5 Category 1 credit. Tickets include dinner and open bar.

During this event, we will discuss the multifaceted topic that is MACRA. With a diverse panel of executives, we will address some common challenges when implementing this new payment model as well as some steps to make the transition easier. Our panelists will talk on their own experience, speaking on what has and has not worked well. We will also hear about the Maryland Primary Care Program which has just rolled out in January of 2019 and is another way of utilizing MACRA through an innovative platform.
