Description

Online registration will end on Friday morning, January 24th, but tickets will be available at the door.

We are very excited about the 22nd Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit, a multi-cultural initiative of the Black & White Reunion.

  • The Opening Ceremony will take place on Friday evening, January 24th at Union Project, at 7:00pm. The doors open at 6:15pm for registration. There will be light refreshments until the event begins at 7:00pm. Seating is limited, please purchase your ticket in advance. Register for the Opening Ceremony on this page.

  • The core of the Summit event is a full day of panels and workshops, on Saturday the 25th, at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Register here for Saturday.

PRJS is a primarily volunteer-led and run organization. Registration proceeds are used to cover the costs of hosting the Summit and for the Jonny Gammage Scholarship Fund.

FAQs

Will there be ASL Interpreters?

Yes, there will be ASL interpreters during the Opening Ceremony.

How can I volunteer?

We are seeking volunteers for a few different roles: registration, set-up, clean-up, room monitors, etc. If you are interested in any of these roles please send an email to info@pittsburghracialjusticesummit.org.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Union Project is located at 801 N. Negley Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 - at the corner of Stanton and N. Negley Avenue.

On-street parking is available.

Union Project also conveniently located on several major bus routes (71A, 75 and 87).

Is childcare available?

Due to space constraints, childcare is not available during the Opening Ceremony. Childcare is available during the day of the Summit.

What's the refund policy?

Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend they can be gifted to another individual.

As a volunteer of the 22nd Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit, I agree to abide by the policies and procedures. I understand that I will be volunteering at my own risk and that the organization or its affiliates cannot assume any responsibility for any liability for any accident, injury or health problem which may arise from any volunteer work I perform. I agree that all the work I do is on a volunteer basis and I am not eligible to receive any monetary payment or reward.
