21st Annual University Row at the Virginia Gold Cu

We are excited for you to join us out at the Plains, VA for a festive day of steeplechase races, networking, and fun with other well-heeled guests at University Row!

All tickets to University Row provide access to our exclusive tent area, our quality buffet, a premium open bar, and of course, the races themselves. Tickets with the transportation option also include your luxury bus transportation to and from the Row. Since we treat all our guests like VIPs, University Row provides the best value at the Virginia Gold Cup!

Make sure you wear your best fashion on race day! This includes your fanciest hats, fascinators, and ‘Derby-Day’ looks. Our Best Dressed competition includes prizes for Best Hat, Best Dressed Man, Woman, Couple, and People’s Choice!

Admission to University Row Includes:

• Admission to Gold Cup, one of the most attended horse races on the East Coast
• Entrance into our PRIVATE and secure area along the north rail
• Welcome drinks
• 4+ hours of full premium open bar!
• Food all day including snacks, lunch, afternoon treats, and more!
• Activities between races (including but not limited to corn hole, bocce, giant Jenga, our best-dressed competition, and an on-site photographer)
• Private security
• Private bathrooms
• Easy access to a betting tent

VA buses will leave from Whitlow's on Wilson - 2854 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA (Clarendon Metro)

• Registration opens at 830am
• Last bus leaves at 1030am

DC buses will leave from Lou's City Bar - 1400 Irving St NW (Columbia Heights Metro)

• Registration begins at 9am
• The bus leaves at 10am

University Row is 100% volunteer-run and is not a for-profit effort. The event is sponsored and managed by officially-chartered non-profit alumni groups, local businesses, and other Friends of University Row, with help from the central steering committee of the Alumni Events Alliance. A strict standard of ethics binds all who participate as Tent Partners and/or sponsors.
