presented to an individual or entity who is dedicated to improving the lives of others impacted by behavioral health issues by promoting recovery, resilience, and hope

presented to an individual or entity that represents advancements in the principles of behavioral health recovery

Since 1964, Mental Health America of Southwestern PA has worked to fight the stigma associated with mental illness and substance use through outreach and educational efforts. MHA-SWPA provides educational programs that help individuals learn about mental wellness as well as explain the challenges of depression, bipolar disorder, and other types of mental illness as well as substance use disorder.
