Event Details

The 21 Run is a family-friendly 5k run/walk held each year at the Cornell's FR Newman Arboretum in Ithaca, New York.  The event is organized in conjunction with the Cornell University Men’s Lacrosse program and the Family Reading Partnership of Ithaca, and also features a Read-Aloud and Bookmaking Tent.  The 2017 event will be the 13th annual edition of the race, and registration will being at 10:21am on Sunday September 24th, with the race getting under way at 11:21.

 

The $21 registration fee includes an event t-shirt, snacks, and waters (children under 14 race and read for free).  The Boiardi Foundation shares the proceeds of the event with the Family Reading Partnership.

The Mario St. George Boiardi Foundation

The Mario St. George Boiardi Foundation honors the memory of Mario St. George Boiardi, a selfless leader and loyal friend, who lost his life in March 2004 while playing lacrosse, the game he loved.  The Foundation’s mission is to carry on George’s legacy by empowering the next generation through academics and athletics.
