Description

Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment with non-judgement, compassion, openness and curiosity. It has a variety of research-backed impacts, including reduction in stress, and improvements in job satisfaction, emotional regulation, and focus.

The central objective of this course is to introduce you to Minduflness and also create a healthy Mindfulness practice.

The content of this program is as follows:

1) The basics of Mindfulness Meditation

2) How to maintain a consistent practice and handle thoughts that arise during meditaiton

3) Practicing compassion, gratitude and kindness

4) Create a daily sitting practice

5) How MIndfulness relates to SEL

This is not a credit course and aims at creating a self care practice for you.
