21 Acres: Renewable+Energy Education Workshops
Please join 21 Acres and local teacher-leaders, Jessica Levine (Seattle Public Schools), Mike Town (Lake Washington School District) and Mike Weirusz (Northshore School District) for what promises to be a very special and rewarding workshop series.
21 Acres is pleased to host nine hours of professional development opportunities for local grade 6-12 teachers. The last workshop will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013, from 9 to noon. A PSE Renewable Energy Education Grant awarded to 21 Acres funds the Renewable+Energy Educator Workshop series.
The Renewable+Energy Educator Workshops will provide you with context and applications for renewable energy concepts and how those concepts align with applicable content standards. In addition to addressing Environmental and Sustainability Education (ESE) content, methodologies, and professional competencies, the collegial nature of the workshops will undoubtedly create an energy of their own.

The workshops are limited to the FIRST TWENTY registrations. Nine clock-hours are provided at no extra cost. Grab someone from your building and head to 21 Acres for three very engaging Saturday mornings.
