20th Annual Youth Symposium - Project Reassurance (Eta Sigma Chapter)
On March 11, 2017, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., alumnae chapters will unite to simultaneously host multiple Youth Symposiums across this nation. The Symposium is just one initiative of our national signature program, Project Reassurance, which has incorporated the theme of “H3: It’s All About Me – Healthy Choices, Healthy Living, and Healthy Generations.” The target audience is ages 12-18.
The 2017 Youth Symposium theme is “Youth Investment: Building A Future for Impactful Leaders”. The goal of this year’s symposium is to engage locally and globally by strengthening the minds, bodies, and perspectives of our youth. The symposium will incorporate a hands-on, interactive component of leadership holding a contest among the participants to present an innovative community service project. A monetary reward will be given to the winner to start their community service venture. The symposium will feature S.T.E.M + A Escape games, Step Show, Social Action Documentary with Youth Forum, Comedian, Rap Artist, S.T.E.M +A careers panel and much more...
