For this event, students will attend a Live Panel with climate experts to discuss the future of climate change solutions.

Format:

  • Zoom Webinar (Please note: With the webinar format, students and teachers will be viewers only and will interact with our educators via the private chat feature).

Standard:

  • HS-ESS3-1 Earth and Human Activity: Construct an explanation based on evidence for how the availability of natural resources, occurrences of natural hazards, and changes in climate have influenced human activity.

About this Event:

This climate crisis requires diverse leaders and perspectives to achieve climate justice. Climate conversations must center race, gender, and class to ensure a healthy planet for everyone. For this event, students will attend a Live Panel where climate experts will explore how their unique experiences bring value and strength to the future of climate change solutions.
