What is a Burns Dinner?

A Burns Dinner (or Burns Supper) is a traditional Scottish celebration honoring the life and poetry of Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet. The evening includes a ceremonial presentation of the haggis, Scottish music, poetry readings, toasts, and a meal inspired by classic Scottish fare.

Is this event open to non-members?

Yes! Guests, spouses, friends, and community members are warmly welcomed. You do not need to be a Mason or Scottish Rite member to attend.

Will alcohol be served?

A dram of whisky may be served during the ceremonial toasts. A non-alcoholic option is always available.

Do I need to RSVP or purchase tickets?

Yes. RSVPs are required so that we may plan seating and catering.

The Robert Burns Supper is a premier fundraising event featuring three delicious courses, traditional Scottish entertainment. Enjoy the evening and support the Dallas Scottish Rite Library and Museum by purchasing individual tickets, VIP tickets, or as a table sponsor.

Table sponsorship opportunities provide corporate and individual donors unique experiences, exposure, and access to premium scotches.

Table sponsorships are available at three levels and include eight seats and premium scotch

• Gold: $1,500 includes one 18-year bottle ofscotch at your table

• Silver: $1,350 includes one 15-year bottle ofscotch at your table

• Bronze: $1,200 includes one 12-year bottle of scotch at your table

• Individual Ticket $115.00

Attire: Highland Wear (Kilts and Tartans) or Semi-Formal
