Interested in starting a business or owning a franchise? Presented by the SBA. Topics include business plans and funding options.

Open to active duty military personnel, military spouses, and veterans (not open to the public)

THIS IS A 2-DAY CLASS - PLEASE PREPARE TO ATTEND BOTH DAYS

Presented by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Participants are introduced to the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to launch a business, including steps for developing business concepts, how to develop a business plan, and information on SBA resources available to help. This two-day in-person program is facilitated by subject matter experts from the SBA and their extensive network of skilled business advisors.

Notification of changes to this class will be via the email you provide during registration.

Location: Religious and Family Service Center, 3019 Embry Loop, Quantico VA 22134

Time: 0800-1630 (8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

Parking: Lejeune Hall overflow parking lot - on Catlin Rd. Do not park in employee parking in the rear or front of the building

Attire: Uniform of the Day or appropriate civilian attire

BASE ACCESS: If you do not have a military affiliated ID card, you will need to contact the Visitor Control Center to obtain a visitors pass. ALLOW TIME PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT TO GET A PASS. Lines can be long.

Instructions contain a list of acceptable documents. You can complete the application online but you will need to present your documents at the visitor center in-person in order to get a pass.
