Director Statement
A 22-year-old Canadian-Iranian director from Calgary, Alberta, with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the Haskayne School of Business. He discovered his passion for filmmaking at 17 and has since directed and produced numerous projects, blending artistic vision with technical expertise. As the founder of Armin Productions, he has developed short films, managed creative teams, and successfully secured funding for his first feature film, Foreign Homeland. Drawing inspiration from his dual heritage, he creates compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Completing his debut feature marks a significant milestone in his journey as a filmmaker.
