2025 G-I Web conference Lunch & Learn: Keller: Ground Improvement Projects
Overview
The Geo-Institute will be holding our 10th Annual Live Streaming Web Conference December 8-12. Each day a diverse set of case histories will be presented by top geotechnical professionals. Each event runs 2 hours and includes opportunities to interact with presenters, and PDHs are available for all paid sessions. More information on the 2025 event is available at https://www.geoinstitute.org/10th-annual-web-conference. Our gold sponsor Keller will present a lunch and learn session during the event on December 10, 2025. Juan Salinas will present "Ground Improvement: Best Practices and Pitfalls Learned from Bidding, Winning, and Building over 100 Projects."
This presentation will begin with a brief overview of ground improvement fundamentals before quickly transitioning into key lessons learned from Aggregate Pier and Rigid Inclusion projects completed by Keller over the past three years. The recommendations shared are intended to support geotechnical consultants, owners, structural engineers, and practitioners in addressing common challenges related to feasibility evaluation, design, testing, quality control, and construction. Insights are drawn from both short case studies featuring unusual site conditions and broader project comparisons where recurring patterns and challenges were identified.
Keller North America provides solutions to a wide range of geotechnical challenges across the entire construction spectrum.
