How do I submit an abstract?

After you complete your registration, the instructions to submit an abstract will be provided in the confirmation email. You must be registered BEFORE you submit your abstract.

What is the deadline to submit an abstract?

The window to submit an abstract will be open from August 18 - October 15.

What is the time commitment for judges?

Accepted Answer

All judges will receive online asynchronous training several weeks before pre-judging begins. All judges will participate in pre-judging from Nov10 to Nov14. All judges will need to be present at their respective site from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to judge the oration component for all presentations.

Why are there different ticket types?

You will want to choose the ticket type that fits your role at IBRS. The types include: Presenter/Project Team Member, Judge, Volunteer/staff, and General Admission (anyone who does not fall into the other ticket types). This helps admin staff provide communications focused for each ticket type.

Who should use the "Presenter/Project Team Member" ticket type?

Accepted Answer

Presenter/Project Team Member - All members of the research team for a submitted abstract including mentors and those who are or are not presenting.

Who should use the "General Admission" ticket type?

Accepted Answer

Anyone planning to attend IBRS either in person or online but is NOT on a research team, a judge, or volunteer/staff should use the "General Admission" ticket type.
