Brew tasters will be able to choose from more than 40 top craft breweries featuring more than 70 different craft brews, seltzers and ciders. In addition, there will be a paid cornhole tournament, free lawn games and food vendors. VIP tasting begins at 1 p.m. and General Admission begins at 2. Taps close at 5:30 p.m. Festival closes at 6:00 p.m. This event will be shaded.
This Brew Fest is being presented by the Summerville Bears Quarterback Club, a 501(c)(3) organization, for the benefit of the Summerville High School athletic programs. Only those 21 or older are allowed at the event and a photo I.D. is required to be admitted. No infants, toddlers, dogs or glass will be admitted. And no refunds. All attendees must wear the wristband supplied and affixed by the Festival staff. Persons without wristbands will be asked to leave the Festival grounds: no whining, no excuses and no exceptions! Festival management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason and the right to attend can be revoked at any time. Remember, please sample responsibly and take advantage of our discounted designated driver ticket.
FAQs
Q: What does my ticket get me?
A: One low entry fee gets you admittance to the festival, a snazzy wristband (keep it on – only those with wristbands may be on the festival grounds), a sampling glass, live music, and all the samples you care to enjoy during the time the taps are open.
Q: Is food included with my ticket?
A: No, but food will be offered by various vendors on a pay-per-item basis. CASH ONLY.
Q: Can tickets be purchased at the door?
A: Yes, tickets are available to purchase at the gate. General Admission will be $55, and Designated Driver Tickets will be $20.
Q: Can we bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to watch the live music?
A: Yes, we encourage you to bring chairs. Low back chairs are preferred, but you may bring high back chairs as long as you sit in the back area.
Q: The weather looks like it will be hot. Is there a shaded area?
A: Yes, there will be large shade tents to make sure no one overheats along with misters and fans.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks?
A: Bottled water is permitted as long as it is a plastic bottle, but NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS ALLOWED.
Q: Is there a dress code?
A: No specific dress code will be enforced, but NO WEAPONS will be allowed.
Q: Are kids allowed?
A: No, this event is 21 & over only. You must show your ID at the door.
Q: I don’t have kids, but I have a dog. I’d keep him on a leash and he’s never caused any problems. Surely, he’s allowed?
A: As much as we love hairy mouths, there are NO DOGS OR OTHER ANIMALS ALLOWED at the festival.
Q: I purchased tickets, but now I can’t go. Can I get a refund?
A: Unfortunately, the Terms Of Agreement that required your acceptance to purchase your tickets clearly state there will be NO REFUNDS. The only exception is if we are required to cancel it per state regulation due to COVID. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the Summerville Bears’ Quarterback Club.
About the organizer
The Summerville Bears’ Quarterback Club was formed to support Summerville High School’s student athletes, with an emphasis on those involved in the football program. We provide monetary and community support to make our football program safer and more enjoyable for all those involved, while simultaneously making the program more affordable for students. We are an approved 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose members donate time, energy and money in hopes of creating something special here in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Please note that none of the money we raise is, or ever will be, used to pay the salaries of coaches or any other school employees.
